About Me

Hi, I’m Rishi 👋

I’m a Principal Engineer at Stedi helping build the only programmable healthcare clearinghouse.

Previously, I was at Block, working across Square’s banking, AI/LLM initiatives, and server community. I also spent 14+ years at Amazon Web Services building event-driven systems, most notably as Principal Engineer for Amazon EventBridge. I also worked on AWS S3 and Amazon Business before that.

My work tends to center on distributed systems, event-driven architectures, and AI/LLM for Developers (DevEx). I’ve been fortunate to open-source Event Ruler and contribute to a number of patent applications in the past.

When not working, I enjoy photography, long-distance running, tennis, reading, swimming, and traveling with family. I’m based in Vancouver, BC.
